Remembering Melbourne beyond the golden mile part 3, will take us on a journey through the early North Western suburbs of Brunswick, Coburg, Flemington and Moonee Ponds, then to the Eastern suburbs of Kew, Camberwell, Hawthorn and Heidelberg. 

We will visit Melbourne’s timeless Parks and Gardens, learn about the history of Melbourne University, and delve into the history of Melbourne’s water and sewage system.

A trip to the sea side to visit Melbourne’s first Port at Williamstown and hear tales of the Prison hulks, the Plague ship Manlius from Scotland, Time Ball, and the CSS Shenandoah.
